Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide quality learning experiences by building lasting relationships with students, increasing self confidence, and providing quality education to ensure high academic success.
Prince brings 8 years of experience in sales and marketing. He has extensive experience in developing promotional campaigns, analyzing current trends, executing expert sales techniques, and identifying new business growth opportunities. His interests include fitness, travel, basketball, and football.
Grace is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, and has taught Elementary and High School. She is great at making connections with our students and excels at teaching reading and grammar. When she’s not teaching, you can find her in a corner either reading a book, writing, or watching one of her favorite movies!
Kayla has been a lead teacher at Smart Scholars academy where she taught and tutored students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. She has also volunteered with the Princess Foundation in which she helped develop and implement youth empowerment programs.
Kayla also brings a love for art with experience teaching students in art classes and looks forward to teaching our art classes at our summer camp this year. She is currently attending U of H and majoring in computer science. Outside of school, she enjoys art, reading, and gaming!
Mrs. Sheree is an experienced educator dedicated to fostering a love of reading in young learners. She has 15 years of experience in elementary education. Her background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and extensive professional development focused on literacy.
Mr. Omar has done exceptionally well in higher level high school courses such as AP Calculus, AP Chemistry and Engineering. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our students as they prepare for more demanding and rigorous classes.
Ms. Jessica has been in education for 15 years. She has taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade in a Dual Language setting. Today she serves as an ELAR Dual Language Instructional Coach for Pre-K-4th grade. She supports teachers virtually and
in the classroom. She has a deep
understanding in curriculum, Science
of Reading, state standards, and the STAAR
assessment.
Ms. Fanny comes to us with over 20 years of experience teaching her native language, Spanish. She has taught in a bilingual classroom setting to elementary aged students in Deer Park ISD, Pasadena ISD, and Alvin ISD. She has also taught Spanish to High School students as well. She is very theatrical and enjoys making Spanish fun for our young students. A fun fact about Ms. Fanny is that she is an expert in the game of chess.
Lesley is apart of our virtual team. She is a certified educator with a focus on English and language arts. She has developed and implemented curricula that cater to diverse student needs, fostering both in-person and online learning environments. With a commitment to clear communication, and student-centered teaching, Lesley continuously adapts lessons to promote engagement and achievement.
Dr. Jasmyne is apart of of our virtual team. She comes to us with Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership, certification in grades K- 6, and a specialization in Math in grades 4-8. She knows how to make personal connections with our students and make math engaging and meaningful.
Hafsa serves as one of our virtual tutors. She has tutored both in person and virtually for three years in grades K-12 for students in Chemistry, Math, and ELA. She has volunteered as a virtual tutor for the Schoolhouse.world platform and UpChieve, to contribute to the mission of education equity for students all across the world.
Currently, Hafsa is a freshman at Princeton University as a prospective Psychology Major with potential concentrations in Teacher Preparation and Entrepreneurship. She loves working with students and particularly enjoys being a mentor for younger students in the community. Besides that, Hafsa is an avid reader, nature enthusiast, and a fan of psychological thrillers!
